Laravel maintenance questions
What the plan covers, what it costs and how we work with your app. Something not covered here? Ask us directly.
What is included in Laravel maintenance?
Every month we apply minor Laravel, PHP and package updates, run a security audit, review slow queries and send you a written care report. Uptime, queues and errors are monitored around the clock, and security patches are applied the same day they are released.
How much does Laravel maintenance cost?
$49 USD a month, fixed, for any Laravel app with up to 10,000 tracked records. There is no hourly billing, so the invoice is the same every month.
What counts as a tracked record?
Whatever your app is built around: customers in a CRM, users in a client portal, projects in a project tool or students on a learning platform. We count that one thing, not every row in your database.
Are bug fixes and new features included?
No. The plan covers upkeep. When we find a bug, or you report one, we send an estimate before doing any work. New features and changes are scoped and quoted the same way.
Are major Laravel upgrades included?
Minor and patch releases are. Major upgrades, such as Laravel 12 to 13, change more of your code, so we plan them with you and quote them separately through our Laravel upgrade service. We warn you well before your version stops receiving security fixes.
See the Laravel upgrade service →Can you maintain a Laravel app we didn't build?
Yes. We take on apps built by other teams and freelancers, on any Laravel version. The first security audit maps the codebase and its risks. If the app runs on a version that no longer gets security fixes, we tell you and quote the upgrade through our Laravel upgrade service.
See the Laravel upgrade service →Do we need to host the app with you?
No. We look after the app wherever it runs today, such as Laravel Forge, Laravel Cloud, a VPS or AWS, as long as we have access to deploy and monitor it.
Prefer us to host it? See managed Laravel hosting →How quickly do you apply security patches?
The same day the patch is released. We also audit your app every month and watch the advisories for Laravel, PHP and every package you depend on.
Is there a contract or minimum term?
No. The plan is billed monthly and you can cancel at any time.
