Take over a Laravel app, without starting again
Your developer left, went quiet, or priced you out, and the app still runs your business. We read the code, recover access, and send a written report of what you own and what needs work.

The developer is gone. The app is still yours.
Most Laravel takeovers start the same way: the app works, the business depends on it, and nobody can say what state it is in. Each of these starts with the same free review.
Your developer or agency is gone
Read access to the code and the server is enough to start. They do not have to take part.
Nobody has the server login
We recover access through the host, the registrar or GitHub, and move every key into your name.
Every change breaks something else
We name the fragile paths and add tests around them before any code changes.
The app is on an old Laravel version
A fixed price upgrade to a supported release, shipped through staging. Laravel upgrades
One written report of what you own
The review is free and the report is yours to keep. It closes with a fixed quote for any catch up work, such as an upgrade to a supported release.
Access and ownership
Repo, server, domain and keys, moved into your name.
Versions and support
The Laravel and PHP versions, and what still gets fixes.
Code health
The fragile parts, and what would slow new work.
Security
Known advisories against the packages the app uses.
Backups and deploys
A restore tested, and the release path mapped.
Tests and docs
Coverage gaps named, and setup written down.
Read first, secure access, then change code
The app keeps running throughout. Nothing changes until access is yours and backups are verified, and the review itself is free either way.

Laravel takeover questions
Access, cost, downtime, and what happens after we take the app on. Something not covered here? Ask us directly.
Can you take over an app another developer or agency built?
Yes. We take on apps built by other teams and freelancers, on any Laravel version. The free review reads the code, the server, and the deploy setup, then the handover report lists what is there, what is risky, and what is missing.
What if we do not have the server passwords or the repo?
We help you recover access through the hosting provider, the domain registrar, or the GitHub owner. It depends on who owns the accounts, so tell us what you have and we will map the path from there.
What if the code is a mess?
Most inherited apps are. The report separates what is ugly from what is risky, and the fixed quote covers only the catch up work the app needs, such as an upgrade to a supported release.
See the Laravel upgrade service →Do we need our old developer to cooperate?
It helps, but it is not required. Read access to the code and the server is enough to start. If the old developer holds the only keys, we recover them through the providers instead.
What does the review cost?
Nothing. The takeover review and the written handover report are free, with no obligation. You only pay if you approve the fixed quote for catch up work.
What happens after the takeover?
The app moves to the $49 a month care plan for updates, monitoring, and a monthly report, to managed hosting if you want us to run the server too, or to ongoing engineering for new features.
See Laravel maintenance →Will the app keep running during the handover?
Yes. We start with read access and change nothing until access is secured and backups are verified. Catch up work releases like any deploy: staging first, with a rollback plan.
Do you only take over Laravel apps?
Yes, this service covers Laravel apps on any version. For other stacks, ask us and we will tell you honestly whether it fits.
